OverEZ Chicken Coops: Shipping is not standard shipping. It is freight shipping which means an semi truck is likely to deliver it not a parcel shipping service. If you do not have the ability to unload the freight via fork lift or other means you must select and pay the lift gate fee for them make sure your delivery vehicle has a lift gate to be able to unload the pallet. This delivery is only available curbside they cannot unload it wherever you like. You will need to be prepared to unpack and move it where you need it once delivered.

Instructions for mixing into a usable solution (chlorine dioxide)

To disinfect poultry and housing

• Place 3.25 fl. oz. of OXINE® concentrate into a clean spray bottle or container of choice, add ten (10) grams of OXINE® Activator Crystals of food grade citric acid (no less than 99% purity). Prepare in a well-ventilated area and allow five (5) minutes reaction. This permits the crystals to dissolve fully into the OXINE®. As the crystals dissolve the solution will turn yellow in color. Once fully dissolved, add one (1) gallon of clean potable water. This will yield a working solution containing 500 ppm available chlorine dioxide.

Adding to feed waterers

To control the build-up of slime and odor causing bacteria in feed waterers.

• Add one (1) fl. oz. of OXINE® per 30 gallons of water (5ppm available ClO2).
• What this means in easy language is that because one (1) fl. oz. = 29.57353 ml, we can say that just under one (1) ml of OXINE® can be added to one gallon of water.
• So, for a three (3) gallon waterer, add three (3) drops of OXINE®.
• a five (5) gallon waterer, add five (5) drops of OXINE®, etc.

To control build-up of odor and slime-forming bacteria in animal housing

These instructions are specifically for CONFINEMENT housing.

• Place 6.5 fl. oz. OXINE® concentrate into a clean, plastic pail. Add one (1) gallon of clean, potable water. This makes a working solution of 1000 ppm of ClO2.
• Depending on size of application sprayer, adjust up or down per the concentration above.

Sanitize clean shell eggs intended for food or food products

• Place 1.28 oz of OXINE® concentrate into a clean, plastic pail and add 3.8 grams (3/4 teaspoon) of OXINE® Activator Crystals of food grade citric acid (no less than 99% purity). Prepare in a well-ventilated area and allow five (5) minutes reaction. This permits the crystals to dissolve fully into the OXINE®. As the crystals dissolve the solution will turn yellow in color. Once fully dissolved, add one (1) gallon of clean potable water. This will yield a working solution containing 200 ppm available chlorine dioxide.
• Spray eggs thoroughly with activated solution making sure surface area is thoroughly wet for at least one (1) minute and allow to drain. Solution must be equal to or warmer than the eggs, but not to exceed 130 degrees F.
• Eggs that have been sanitized with this chlorine dioxide compound may be broken in the manufacture of egg products without a prior potable water rinse. Eggs must be reasonably dry before casing or breaking. Never re-use activated solutions.

Environmental Hazards

This pesticide is toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. Do not discharge effluent containing this product into lakes, streams, ponds, estuaries, oceans or public water unless in accordance with the requirements of a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit and the permitting authority has been notified in writing prior to discharge. Do not discharge effluent containing this product to sewer systems without previously notifying the local sewage treatment plant authority. For guidance, contact your State Water Board or Regional Office of the EPA.
